Breakfast in hotel . Pick up from the hotel’s lobby at 09 00 hrs for Brunei Heritage tour with lunch which is a 7 hours tour.
Full day heritage tour of Brunei which will include the open market, a busy place where locals buy their daily products, some ‘ready to eat’ food, handicrafts, local herbs and medicinal plants, Malay Technology Museum which has galleries on the Malays, ethnic tribes and their lifestyles, Brunei Museum where guests can learn Brunei’s Muslim heritage, view the rare Islamic collection of His Majesty, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, natural history collection, cultures and traditions of the locals, sunken treasures and the foundation of Oil and Gas industry. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in town. In the afternoon, we continue our heritage tour to the Jame Asr’ Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. This is one of the most magnificent mosques in Asia with 29 golden domes (All mosques are closed for inside visit on Thursday and Friday and some public holidays and in the case of inside visit requires the removal of footwear and to use non revealing outfit ). Then it is on to the Royal Regalia Building, which was completed in 1992 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. It is filled with pictures of the Crown Prince, the full Royal regalia used during the Coronation, the Crown, the replica of the throne room, and numerous gifts from the state dignitaries. Proceed to a boat ride and visit a house, where you will be served with local tea break. You will also have the opportunity to get souvenirs, as we will have a quick stop by Yayasan Shopping Complex. Lastly, the Royal Palace ‘Istana Nurul Iman’ for photo opportunity from Damuan Park. This is the largest residential palace in the world, and it is situated on top of a hill overlooking the capital and the Brunei River. After tour , return to Centrepoint hotel.
Dinner at Season Restaurant , Centrepoint Hotel ( set dinner and no guide or coordinator provided ). Meals : Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner.

Breakfast in hotel. In the afternoon , pick up from the hotel’s lobby and transfer to Portview Restaurant for set lunch ( steamboat is only available for dinner ) . Walk to visit to Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque for photostop . Proceed to Brunei arts and handicraft for souvenirs.
At 15 30 hrs , proceed to the jetty for Proboscis Monkey. This popular tour consists of a leisurely boatride through the mangroves in search of the wild Proboscis Monkey which are found only in Borneo. Before entering the mangrove forest we will pass the famous Kampong Ayer and Sultan’s Palace (Istana Nurul Iman).
This tour is designed for you to see and understand the habitat and ecology of this elusive creature which has excited the curiosity of visitors to Borneo since colonial times. The pendulous pink noses and potbellies of the adult males reminded locals of Europeans, and this gave them their local name of Orang Belanda, or “Dutchman”. Local populations have been decreasing and they need your help to prevent them from becoming an endangered species. Your experienced guide will explain how you can help to protect the proboscis monkey.
Explanations on Nipah palm and Mangrove forest will be given and an opportunity to witness other wildlife in the area. White-bellied Sea Eagles, Great White Egrets and King Fishers are commonly seen. We may be lucky enough to encounter a Salt-water Crocodile or Monitor lizard. Other mammals include otters, flying foxes and long tail macaques. Mangrove snakes and pythons may be observed on overhanging branches. After tour , return to hotel.
At 19 00 hrs , pick up from the hotel’s lobby and transfer to Rizqun International Hotel for dinner ( either buffet or dinner – based on that day ) at Rizqun Café . After dinner , return to Centrepoint Hotel . Meals : Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner .
