Day 1 – Free & Easy. Afternoon – Bandar Splendour tour

Morning Arrival at Brunei airport and transfer to hotel for check in.

We will depart by 1330hrs from the hotel lobby and proceed with the Bandar Splendour tour which is a 4 hours tour. This is a comprehensive tour which highlights the Royal Regalia Museum ( Requires the removal of footwear and recommended to use socks as the marble floor is very cold!), the Brunei Museum, the spectacular Jame’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque (Mosque is closed for inside visit every Thursday and Friday and only photostop outside and in the case of inside visit, requires the removal of footwear ), catch a glimpse of the magnificent Istana Nurul Iman from Damuan Park (the official residence of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam) and lastly boatride through the Water Village (Kampong Ayer), one of the world’s largest water village, has hovered over the shallows of the Brunei river for at least four centuries. Recorded as a bustling community of around 23,000 dwellings (comparable to London’s size at the time) and visit one of the local houses where you will be served with local tea break. Then return to the hotel.

Guided visits are conducted at the Jame’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque during specific hours everyday except Thursday, Friday and certain Public Holidays in Brunei Darussalam.

Day 2 – Ulu Ulu National Park Resort (Temburong) Day Trip (L)

Pickup at 7:00am from the hotel for the Ulu Temburong National Park tour. The national park is situated within the Batu Apoi Forest reserves and lies at the confluence of the Temburong and Belalong Rivers. Covering an area of 50,000 hectares, only 100 hectares is designated as park visitation area, thus the park is a safe haven for flora and fauna. There is no human or modern encroachment in this area except for the field research centre. The biodiversity of this area is one of the best in the world. The journey to the national park itself is an adventure where you go pass winding river tributaries lined with nipah palms and mature mangrove trees. Upon reaching Bangar town, we proceed to Batang Duri jetty where you will be transported to the national park using long boats called “temuai” driven by skilled locals maneuvering pass several rapids. When we reach the park’s headquarters, we need to register and then proceed to the canopy walk where along the way; our guides will show you this pristine rainforest. As we walk along the plank walks, you will encounter giant ants, and huge buttress dipterocarp trees. On return to the registration centre, proceed for lunch. After lunch, you can relax and swim in the cool waters and enjoy the pristine environment. We then depart the national park by long boat and upon reaching Bangar town, you can have a few minutes to walk about to buy some drinks or souvenirs before boarding the speedboat back to the modern world.

What to bring along:

Please bring along a set of dry clothes, footwear that you won’t mind getting wet in, swimwear, toiletries, hat, snacks (if needed), insect repellent. Recommended to use river shoes/suitable shoes as you will go to some muddy areas to the canopy. Passport number before you can board the public speedboat to Bangar and dietery requirements if any for lunch of local standard menu at Ulu Ulu Resort are required. This is an adventure tour and is highly not recommended to those with walking disabilities,pregnant ladies and child under 7 years old.

Day 3 – Free and easy

Transfer to Airport for flight departure.
